The Magic of Christmas

 My teamies and I were challenged this week with "Xmas/Winter"

I am now feeling comfortable about making Christmas cads since the weather has changed.....its getting cooler and I am starting to hear Christmas Carols in my head while creating....

This weeks card has a bit of coloring....I used the snowman, papers and poinsettias from the Winnie Winterland Download Collection 

The images are amazing and the papers are the prettiest around...



I also used the Fancy Snowflakes die with shimmering paper and a gold 
cardstock.....

Watercolor Classes being offered by Julia Spiri

Welcome back to Mistyblues Creations....

This month as DT of Julia Spiri it is a real tell all kind of creation....

I have never done watercolors before, so please be kind.  I have worked with oils, acrylics, pencil drawing, Copics of course....but never, have I ever, watercolored.

So please be gentle.

For the release of her two new classes she offered the classes to her DT and I of course gave it a shot....after first doing the image with Copics for a bit of encouragement.

And here is the same image done in watercolors....two different times using the class.....

These classes are informative and very helpful I am just not good at watercolors....

in my opinion it is a very hard feat to create a scary card with Winnie because she is just too darn cute.

and what better collection to use than 





I love sunflowers and knew I wouldn't be able to them them justice so I used all pre-colored images this week.


Than I took the black and white images from the collection and manipulated 
them in Serif to color with Copics and show another aspect of the same images.
