My DT project for
Classic Design Team Open Challenge #16

1st August to September 2017

I am not one for creating Christmas cards...lol...I use to send them out years ago but as the time went by the season always got away from me.  Christmas was one of the most special times for me until my Dad passed away and now my hubby hates Christmas so it makes it pretty difficult to get into the Christmas spirit.

Thank you so much for visiting today....don't forget to visit my teamies blogs also....there are some beautiful creations this month.

And while you are there enter our challenge.  Couldn't beany easier, it is always Anything Goes".  My teamies and I were challenged this week with "Christmas/Christmas Colors"

I decided to make something very plain this week using Winnie Winterland.

I just love this little reindeer and he expression on his face so I made him the focal point of my card.

Patterned papers and pre colored image is from the Winnie Winterland Collection.
White cardstock is from my stash as were the gems.
Used the SU snow embossing folder for the background.

The collections at Polkadoodles contain everything you need to create the perfect card.
Need a quick card for an unexpected occasion?  There are pre colored images or wonderful design sheets that take the guessing out of creating.  On many of the collections you can forget about your scissors if you have a cutting machine, because included are cutting files.
Want to spend more time creating?  Than choose one of the b/w images and color it up with one of your own coloring
mediums.

Leave some love on my teamies creations this week while you are on the blog grabbing your discount code.

Christmas Colors in July

It is everyone's favorite day of the week!
Tuesday...or

Don't forget to visit the Digi Choosday Challenge blog and grab the code for some amazing discounts today.  And while you are there enter our challenge.  Couldn't be any easier, it is always Anything Goes".

My teamies and I were challenged this week with
 "Christmas or Winter Colors"
Christmas in June?  Oh my....I know it will be here before we know it.  I guess I could have used some other collection to reflect the colors of Christmas but what better way to do that than with a Christmas Collection.  My choice?  WP5 Work & Play 5 Festive Hollybobs

Pattern for the bag, bow and flowers are all from this collection.  Quick little project for that last minute or smaller gift that you do not know how to wrap.

My teamies and I were challenged this week with
making a "Thank You" creation.I have found that I do not put sentiments on the front of my cards unless I am making a card for a special occasion, this way when I need a quick card I have so many to choose from since there is no sentiment on the front.

For my thank you card, I decided to do a bendi card and decorate it using dies from the Polkadoodle collection and the new Lil Miss Sugarpops 2 download kit that was just released.

Patterned papers  are from this collection.
Solid papers are from my stash.
Image is colored with Copics.
