For the Girls!

I blinked my eyes and it was Tuesday! ❤️. But that only means one thing....well maybe more than one but this is important....it is Polkadoodles Digi Choosday!!! This week challenge is For the Girls.
I used another design sheet from the Winnie Fruit Punch Collection
You really have to check this collection out....the combinations are endless in making cards!

Using the background on this designer sheet, I cut it out and used it as a frame. Attached the image to one of the lovely papers and added embellishments that were included on the sheet. Dimensional a were used to give the image a 3D look.

Julia Spiri Challenge...Anything Goes with a Twist

At the Beach or Sea,
....new Challenge over at Julia Spiri Challenge blog. For this months inspiration I chose Mermaid and Lotus

Such a serene image she was so much fun to color. ❤️. What a mystical creature they are.....

For the background, I printed out a copy of a Monet painting and cropped it to get just the right part of the picture I wanted. Card stock background is paper that I had in my stash. Image was fussy cut and bottom was cut using a Martha Stewart edge punch. Flowers are from the Julia Spiri Cherry Blossom watercolor collection. She was colored with copics.

Skin- E50, E51, E70

Water- a pick and chose assortment of blues

Tail-E21, E11, BV00, Y06, YG11, YG14, W4, W6

Hair-B000, B00, B41, C3, C1

Dance Like No One is Watching!

Wow! II is July...where is the summer going!❤️. It has been such a busy week at Polkadoodles and It is Digi Tuesday week 27.....CAS. So with them in mind, my DT inspiration this week for I chose another designer sheet from the Winnie Fruit Punch Collection.CD collection.

Just look at all the lovely printable elements there are? You will get lost in all the wonderful images!

There are just so many to choose from...this week I went with Dancing Queen

When there is so much going on in your life and you need a card for an occasion that is coming up or something unexpected......this is the way to go. Go into the CD and print out a designer sheet, cut out and craft away. What a beautiful make in a short amount of time. Images cut with Spellbinder die.

I folded up the wings on the butterflies and the petals on the flowers.

Used dimension dots to elevate the presents, used the designer sheet background and added a heart bit of bling. And here she is ready for an envelope!

Introducing Lady Jane!

For this weeks Scrapper's Delights Anything Goes Challenge I chose to use Lady Jane
Digi for my DT inspiration. My reason behind it is because my husband calls me Lady Jane all the time.

Lady Jane was colored with Copics.

Dress & bow- B29, B24, B12

Cape- G99, G94, G21

Skin-E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20

Hair-W9, W7, W5, W3

Paper I grabbed from my stash. (to be honest I was looking for navy blue...and with all the paper I have navy was not to be found). ❤️

Tress were cut with Spellbinder dies.

Frame and fence were cut using Silhouette Cameo. Corner stickers and flowers from my stash.

When layering the card I decided to bow her dress to give it a bit of dimension as you can see in the following picture.

Broken Fairy Designs FB Challenge!

Where has the time gone! It is July and that means there is a new monthly FB Challenge over at Broken Fairy FB page. It is a photo challenge this month...Under the Sea. As you can see I chose to have the sea behind me...because "I am a fish out of water without you!"

With this challenge I used Dolphin Love.

I would also like to wish Morgan...the creator of this lovely image a Happy Birthday. ❤️
