Ula- the New Release at Polkadoodles

I hope everyone has seen all the fabulous creations of my teamies with this new and adorable release.

Ula' Life

She is available as individual sets or a complete downloadable set.

We were asked to create some mixed media projects...and honestly I have never done any actually mixed media so on went the thinking cap.

For my first make I created a canvas using Ula as a Princess.  I painted the canvas with antique white acrylic paint and sprayed with a watered down blue gray ink.  Used midge podge to adhere the doily and digital cardstock from the Octavia collection.   Colored my image with Copics.  Decorated with flowers from my stash and used the dies from Polkadoodles.

Very pleased with how she came out but boy what a disaster I made in my craft room!  Not cleaning it yet because I will be back with a few more creations with this adorable collection.

The collections at Polkadoodles contain everything you need to create the perfect card.
Need a quick card for an unexpected occasion?  There are pre colored images or wonderful design sheets that take the guessing out of creating.  On many of the collections you can forget about your scissors if you have a cutting machine, because included are cutting files.

Want to spend more time creating?  Than choose one of the b/w images and color it up with one of your own
coloring mediums.
Thank you for visiting today.  Know that all your comments are read and greatly appreciated.

Her is my 2nd make using Ula' Life

She is available as individual sets or a complete downloadable set.

We were asked to create some mixed media projects...and honestly I have never done any actually mixed media
so on went the thinking cap.

Didn't make such a mess making this card.....I actually challenged myself and used My Serif program, added some pearls and used a butterfly dies to embellish.

Challenges Entered

For my last make today, there's a story.  When I saw the Swish Your Tail image....I knew right away I wanted to put her in a fish tank.  A fish tank in which I do not have.  So off to the store I went to purchase the fish tank, stones and plants for the inside of the tank.  My image was going to be submerged in the center and I was going to use it as a faux tank.  But wait....if I am going to purchase all of this I might as week purchase a fish too....what is a couple more dollars.  So now my image and scene is a backdrop for my new beta fish!
